The journal Established in 2014 by the Publication Wing of Yadam Institute of Research.with aim is to reflect the theoretical, empirical and applied diversity of universal human rights & Duties, particularly welcome are papers which explore contemporary human rights issues, challenges and transformations affecting global society or which highlight how an international perspective can provide fresh insights contributing to the development of international human rights & Peace theories and applications.. As the journal caters for the diverse human rights & peace researchers, activists and promoters community it welcomes theoretical contributions as well as more empirical papers using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Nature of Article:
Contributions may be submitted in English only or translated into english from any launguage for which it is possible to identify suitable reviewers. Submissions are considered for publication only with the understanding that they are not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere in English and are the original work of the author(s). If author(s) published previous form and any current consideration must also be are disclosed. Every Author must sign a copy right form.
Standard length of papers is 4-6000 words including, abstract, text, appendices, footnotes and references, but shorter contributions are also welcomed.Title, Authors name, full address and brief biographical note of not more than 40 words will be required, with an abstract of 150 words and about 5 key words. To enhance the reachability as wide a readership as possible for the article authors are encouraged to use titles, keywords and text in the abstract which avoid jargon and give a clear indication of the content and contribution of the paper.Spelling should be consistent within the paper. 1. Peer Review Policy:
The Rights Journal adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy in which the identity of the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties. All submissions are reviewed initially by the Editor and only those papers that meet the editorial standards of the journal, and fit within the aims and scope of the journal, will be sent for outside review. Papers which exceed the maximum word length of 6000 words, or which appear to be in early draft form, will not be reviewed
All Authors who have made a substantive contribution to the article should be listed as authors. First or Principal authorship, authorship order, and other publication credits should be based on the relative scientific or professional contributions of the individuals involved, regardless of their status. A student is usually listed as principal author on any multiple-authored publication that substantially derives from the student’s dissertation or thesis.
All submission which do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an Acknowledgements section. Examples of those who might be acknowledged include a person who provided purely technical help, or a department chair who provided only general support. CATALOG-2017
Publishing policies/ Ethics:
YIR is committed to upholding the integrity of the academic record. We encourage authors to refer to the Committee on Publication Ethics’ Global Standard of Authors and view the Publication Ethics. It take issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously. We seek to protect the rights of our authors and we always investigate claims of plagiarism or misuse of articles published in the journal. Equally, we seek to protect the reputation of the journal against malpractice. Submitted articles may be checked using duplication-checking software. Where an article is found to have plagiarised other work or included third-party copyright material without permission or with insufficient acknowledgement, or where authorship of the article is contested, we reserve the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); retracting the article (removing it from the journal); taking up the matter with the head of department or dean of the author’s institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies; banning the author from publication in the journal or all SAGE journals, or appropriate legal action.
Before publication, YIR requires the author as the rights holder to sign a Journal Contributor’s Publishing Agreement Journal Contributor’s Publishing Agreement is an exclusive licence agreement which means that the author retains copyright in the work but grants YIR the sole and exclusive right and licence to publish for the full legal term of copyright.
